Iva Foschia, Founder, Principal and lead architect at IF Architecture, led the design of ‘beautiful yet relaxed’ Australian furniture brand Jardan‘s flagship Sydney store.

Inspired by the Sydney landscape, Iva wanted the store to echo the vibrancy of its location. She achieved this by selecting a striking colour palette, including deep blues to reflect the Sydney harbour, greens from the streets of Rose Bay, plus reds and yellows from Surry Hills trees in Autumn time.

To anchor the design and provide texture to the space Maison engineered oak flooring in the Naturale shade was selected for the stairwell and shop floor. “We had to strike a delicate balance between colour and texture in the space, and these boards achieved that perfectly”, Iva commented.
