Born from the passion and talent of Giuseppe Mardegan, Mardegan Legno is located in the heartland of the Hungarian forests, where the precious Slavonian oak grows and matures.
Hand-finished surfaces
Mardegan Legno creates wooden surfaces that are processed and finished by hand. Skilled artisans monitor every stage of the production process - from trunk selection and sawing, to delivery of the finished product.

A team of more than 90 collaborators specialise in the creation of 13 surfaces finishes and more than 140 hand-made colours.

Studies conducted by Giuseppe Mardegan combine a passion for wood with research and inspiration. This is how Mardegan Legno surfaces come into being.
The Selections
During the production process, the lamellas are carefully divided into three main types called “selections”. Mardegan Legno experts make it possible to reach a precise classification of the individual boards, based on the design that nature created. Over time, humidity and temperature also leave a variety of signs, demonstrating that nothing is definitive and that the beauty of nature resides in its unpredictability and imperfection.
