Our Port Melbourne showroom is a space designed for architects and designers to explore materials in person. Bringing together timber veneer, laminate and timber flooring, the showroom allows visitors to compare finishes, experience textures and build material palettes in a relaxed and collaborative environment.
Rather than traditional displays, materials are integrated throughout the space in joinery and architectural details. This approach allows surfaces to be experienced as they would be within an interior, revealing grain, tone and variation while demonstrating how materials interact with light and surrounding finishes.
The showroom has been designed as a working space where samples can be handled, compared and layered together. Large tables allow materials to be laid out side by side, supporting the process of selecting finishes and refining palettes.
A polished concrete floor provides a neutral foundation, allowing flooring samples to be introduced and removed easily so they can be viewed clearly alongside other materials.
Styled by Karin Bochnik, the showroom has been thoughtfully layered with furniture, textiles and artwork to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The interior softens the technical process of specification and allows materials to be experienced within a setting that reflects real design contexts.
