The process

Asymmetric European Ash veneer leaves are spliced together, then pressed on melamine infused kraft paper.

Gentle brushing removes some of the softer, earlywood between the growth rings, providing the panels with their distinctive, tactile quality.

Then, multiple coats of durable two-pack paint are applied, resulting in a matt finish with a subtle wood grain texture.

Application

BLOK is suitable for conventional veneer or laminate applications in residential and commercial projects.

This includes kitchen and bathroom joinery, commercial fit-outs, furniture, wall cladding and toilet partitions, plus horizontal surfaces such as shelves, workstations and benches (excluding food preparation surfaces).
