Australian Architects Bates Smart are the designers behind the spectacular Crown Metropol Hotel façade.

The design for this 5-star luxury hotel called for a completely neutral light grey appearance, whilst it had to meet town planning and energy regulation. Being a hotel, the internal colour reflectance had to be neutral in colour and extremely low, to allow for maximum night-time visibility.

In response, we developed a custom glass product, which met all these design challenges and delivered the glass on time and on budget.
