SKALA BiPV solar active modules, Bronze 3001

Reaching 20 storeys high and predominantly constructed from timber, Sara Kulturhus is an eco-conscious skyscraper in Skellefteå, Sweden.

An outstanding example of sustainable architecture, the building is crowned with a shimmering solar-active façade.

304 thin-film SKALA BiPV modules were installed in the bronze colourway, perfectly complementing the blonde timber exterior.

The panels cover 319m2 of the building’s façade, enclosing the spa area of The Wood Hotel, a luxurious yet sustainable property situated on the upper floors.
