Seeking an ecologically sound premises, the German Alpine Club engaged  Seibold + Seibold to develop the Jurabloc, its modern climbing centre in Bavaria.

The impressive building was predominantly constructed from timber and features a visually striking solar-active façade on the southern side.

SKALA BiPV solar active modules in black form a 169m2 solar skin, enabling the building to generate its own energy and reduce carbon emissions.
